I enquired about personal training as I wanted to lose weight and build muscle. I had suffered with being overweight for a number of years, despite going to the gym three times per week. I knew my diet was pretty poor but didn’t know how to start making improvements.

I had a lot to learn about nutrition, but wanted results instantly. Darryl helped me find quick, short term solutions to my nutritional problems which got me the results I wanted. He then progressively improved my understanding of nutrition to ease me away from the short term fix but keep making progress and enable me to make my own informed decisions.

I have gained an enormous amount of confidence from the way I look. I’m no longer self conscious on the beach and regularly receive compliments about how much my appearance has changed which makes me feel great.

Most importantly, this has been a lifestyle change for me, at no point has this felt like a crash diet (although that doesn’t mean there weren’t challenges along the way!) I now live a much more active lifestyle and enjoy eating a well balanced diet and I can truly see myself living like this way for the rest of my life!
